FTC MOOREX Splicing Fid
The FTC Moorex Splicing Kit is an essential tool for arborists who value speed and precision when installing crown stabilization systems. Specifically developed for splicing hollow-braid ropes, this kit allows for the simple creation of professional end terminations directly on-site.
The set consists of a robust 30 cm splicing needle (pusher) and three screw-on, conical tips (fids) made of high-quality aluminum. Thanks to the varying diameters of the attachments, the tool can be flexibly adapted to different rope thicknesses. A particular practical advantage: helpful markings are engraved on the needles, allowing measurements to be taken directly in the tree without the need for additional tools.
