ART Lockjack 2 Climbing Device

The ART LockJack is a versatile ascent and descent device for climbing on a moving double rope and is considered a true classic in professional tree care. Its compact design, ease of use, and ability to reliably lock even under load make it an ideal choice for both beginners and experienced climbers. Whether you're ascending free-hanging or against the trunk, the LockJack moves smoothly along the rope and operates with minimal effort.

A particularly practical feature: the rope doesn’t need to be threaded through – the device is *midline-attachable*, meaning it can be installed directly onto a tensioned rope. The integrated swivel prevents the rope and body movements from twisting against each other, significantly enhancing climbing comfort.

The LockJack comes with two interchangeable cam sets, suitable for rope diameters from 11–13 mm. Its modular design allows all wear parts to be replaced as needed. The device is approved for use by two persons and meets the requirements of EN 358. In short: a robust, safe, and long-lasting rope control device – Made in Germany.
