The DMM Shadow Locksafe is a compact, lightweight D-shaped carabiner that delivers impressive strength despite its low weight. Its D-shape directs loads efficiently along the major axis, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of tree care applications.

Manufactured from hot-forged aluminium and finished with a durable anodized coating, the Shadow offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. The automatic 3-way Locksafe gate provides reliable protection against accidental opening, while the keylock nose prevents snagging during clipping and unclipping. Thanks to its I-beam construction, it combines high breaking strength with minimal material use—ideal when both efficiency and safety matter.

The DMM Shadow Locksafe Colour Pack offers a simple and convenient way to colour-code components within a system, making it particularly well suited for training environments, such as SKT courses. In everyday tree care work, the colour-coded Shadow Locksafe carabiners make it easier to identify components from a distance, supporting both teams and solo climbers in the safe and organized management of their equipment.
