Petzl TIBLOC Ascender

The Petzl Tibloc provides you with an extremely compact powerhouse that, weighing in at just 35 grams, is barely noticeable on your gear. This minimalist rope clamp, crafted from robust stainless steel, is your ideal companion for self-rescue, building efficient haul systems, or as a mechanical replacement for traditional friction hitches. Thanks to the intuitive markings on the housing, you can install the rope flawlessly, even in high-stress situations.

The intelligent design ensures that the angled teeth achieve an immediate, firm grip, while the integrated cleaning slot maintains full functionality even on muddy or iced ropes ranging from 8 to 11 mm in diameter. A spring-loaded system automatically secures the carabiner against the rope, allowing the clamp to engage instantly in any working position. To prevent losing this small tool in dense terrain or foliage, a tether cord can be easily attached to the integrated eyelet.
