The DMM Rhino HMS Locksafe carabiner is specifically designed for professional users like you who refuse to compromise on safety and handling in tree care operations. Made from hot-forged aluminum and equipped with an automatic 3-way Locksafe gate, it offers a reliable, durable solution for demanding applications.

The distinctive “Rhino Horn” effectively prevents belay devices or pulleys from rotating, reducing the risk of dangerous cross-loading—especially useful when working with hitch climbers or redirect pulleys. Its HMS shape, combined with a keylock nose, ensures smooth handling without snagging during clipping and unclipping.

With a high breaking strength of 27 kN along the major axis, 9 kN across the minor axis, and 7 kN with the gate open, the Rhino is built to withstand heavy loads. Despite its strength, it remains comfortably lightweight at just 80 grams. The anodized finish adds further durability and resistance to daily wear.
