Notch Jet Step foot ascender

With the Jet Step, Notch offers a foot ascender that features an innovative dual-cam system. Unlike conventional ascenders with aggressive teeth, this model utilizes toothless double cams, which significantly reduces rope wear. This design ensures exceptionally low friction, allowing the rope to glide more easily through the device during ascent and enabling efficient self-tending.

A major practical advantage for daily operations is the ascender's flexibility: the design allows for use on either the right or left foot, eliminating the need for a separate model for the other side. Despite its toothless mechanism, the Jet Step provides a reliable grip even on dirty, wet, or frozen ropes. The combination of a rugged aluminum body and durable nylon webbing makes it a long-lasting tool for everyday use in professional arboriculture.
