Petzl ASAP Fall Arrest Device

The Petzl ASAP is a mobile fall arrester that provides reliable protection during rope-based work or movement along structures. It automatically follows your movements up and down the rope without manual intervention — ideal for efficient work on vertical or angled rope systems. In the event of a fall, a slip, or an uncontrolled descent, the ASAP locks instantly — even if you instinctively grab the device.

It can be attached or detached from the rope at any point and can be used in combination with a suitable energy absorber, such as the ASAP’SORBER or ASAP’SORBER AXESS, to allow work at a distance from the rope. This also makes it suitable for rescue scenarios, where two people with a combined weight of up to 250 kg need to be secured. Durable materials like aluminum and stainless steel ensure a long service life — no matter the conditions you’re working in.
