The integrated captive bar keeps the carabiner securely in place—such as on the attachment point of a short lanyard—preventing unwanted rotation or cross-loading. Its compact oval shape and short overall length make it perfect for applications where a minimal system length is essential—without compromising on safety.

Like the standard version, the Captive Bar model has a 24 kN major axis strength and features an automatic 3-way Locksafe gate, allowing for safe, one-handed operation. The smooth rope-bearing surfaces are gentle on gear, extending the lifespan of both rope and carabiner, while the keylock nose ensures snag-free handling.
