FTC Rollotube

The Rollotube is your practical assistant for stress-free horizontal cuts when removing trunk sections. Once you have guided the chain into the trunk, you simply slide the coated fiberglass rod into the kerf. It acts as a mechanical spacer and reliably prevents the weight of the wood from pinching your chainsaw. A particular advantage is the rolling function: the severed trunk section can simply be pushed over the rod and rolls off in a controlled manner, significantly reducing your physical effort.

For maximum freedom in the tree, the Rollotube is equipped with a self-retracting tether made from a robust nylon-Dyneema mix. The system attaches directly to your harness via a clip. This ensures the rod is within reach at all times and can simply be let go after use without getting lost or hindering you while climbing.
