ART Cocoon 5 Pulley

The ART Cocoon 5 is a compact redirect pulley designed to meet the highest demands of professional tree care. Built from durable Konstruktal aluminium and featuring ART’s proven ball lock technology, it combines maximum safety with intuitive handling. The closure mechanism can be opened and closed without tools – ropes, webbing slings, and components like the ZipAbsorber are securely enclosed within the pulley. An integrated O-ring prevents accidental opening, while a signal ring clearly indicates when the ball lock is disengaged.

Equipped with two sealed SKF ball bearings, the Cocoon 5 ensures exceptionally smooth rope movement – even under load. It is suitable for ropes up to 14 mm in diameter (EN 1891) and certified as PPE according to EN 12278.

Four possible mounting positions for the axle bolt allow flexible adjustment of the rope path, offering a major advantage when used in combination with the RopeGuide. With a breaking strength of up to 29 kN, the Cocoon 5 is not only high-performing but also built for long-term durability.
