EDER Ascender EPC-240-11 B Climbing device

With the EDER Ascender EPC 240-11 B, you can make your arboriculture work significantly more efficient while conserving your energy during long ascents on vertical ropes. This battery-powered climbing device, made in Germany, utilizes the proven power unit of the Stihl MSA 220 T, enabling you to work quietly and emission-free without the need to carry fuel. The device is compatible with Stihl AP 300 S or AP 500 S batteries (sold separately). Thanks to the practical Easy-Start pull-cord, the motor can be effortlessly reactivated even at working height.

The system is designed for an impressive payload of 240 kg, allowing you to ascend easily with full gear or, in rescue scenarios, with a second person. It achieves a swift ascent speed of up to 0.6 m/s, while the controlled descent at 0.3 m/s ensures maximum safety. Weighing in at just 10.5 kg, the device remains manageable and compact. For safe operation, the use of a second backup system and certified 11 mm static ropes is mandatory.
