ART SnakeTail Connector
The ART SnakeTail is a compact yet extremely versatile lanyard designed for everyday climbing use. At 115 cm in length, it’s perfect for connecting your harness to an ascender, serving as a short lanyard, a redirect anchor, or an adjustable cambium saver.
Thanks to its 14 segment stitches, the length can be precisely adjusted in 5 cm increments – no knots or additional gear required.
Made from an 8 mm kernmantle rope with a durable Dyneema-polyester blend and parallel stitching, the SnakeTail offers excellent abrasion resistance and minimal stretch. When subjected to loads of around 5 kN, the segment stitches tear in a controlled manner, providing a shock-absorbing effect without compromising the overall breaking strength at the rope ends.
A smart added feature is the removable *NutRing*, which allows for flexible use with the ART RopeZipper or other components. This makes the SnakeTail a true multitool – compact, cleverly designed, and built to perform.
