With the latest generation of the Petzl Sequoia, you are bringing a highly advanced seat and work positioning harness into the tree canopy, tailored precisely for intensive use in doubled rope technique (DRT) climbing. A major innovation of this model is the integrated ring on the attachment bridge. This allows the classic seat harness to be transformed into a comprehensive fall arrest system in the blink of an eye. During engineering, particular emphasis was placed on the balance between stability and freedom of movement. The semi-rigid, wide waistbelt absorbs loads excellently and, combined with the ergonomically shaped leg loops, ensures optimal weight distribution. Thanks to the three-dimensional foam padding on all contact surfaces, the harness remains extremely comfortable even during hours of free-hanging work.

Day-to-day handling is strictly geared towards efficiency. The high-grip DOUBLEBACK buckles allow the tilt angle of the harness to be precisely adjusted and permanently locked in place without the material shifting under load. Donning and doffing the harness is effortless, even with thick work gloves, as both the waistbelt and leg loops are equipped with automatic FAST buckles. A special three-way mechanism on the leg loops prevents accidental opening of the fasteners while fully preserving your customized fit when stepping in. Furthermore, the side attachment points automatically adapt to the direction of pull of your lanyards with every twist of your body.

For your gear management, the harness offers clever options to keep your equipment structured and organized throughout the entire day. Six rigid equipment loops are distributed around the waistbelt for quick access. The system is complemented by a total of eight slots for CARITOOL tool holders, strategically divided between the belt and the leg loops. Your chainsaw can be securely fastened to a rugged webbing loop at the rear, while an elastic keeper keeps your first-aid kit close at hand. Maximum versatility is provided by the large gated attachment points, where you can mount up to two attachment bridges or accessories. For exceptionally long stints in the rope, you also have the option to attach an optional seat board to the D-rings to significantly relieve pressure on your legs.
