The company DRAYER Fachhandel für Baumpflege und Seiltechnik asks all users of the treeAustria 3.2 tree climbing harness to regularly check, that the bolts of the two stainless steel shackles are correctly tightened (see picture).
The bolts are correctly tightened when the applied red lacquer point forms a uniform surface. It has been reported by a single user that one of these bolts came loose without further action. The shackles carry load and are therefore highly relevant to safety.
That's why DRAYER wants to inform every user of the treeAustria 3.2 tree climbing harness about this fact and ask them to check the bolts regularly for correct fit and retighten them if necessary.
