Safety Update for the ART BlackBird
ART calls on all BlackBird owners to replace the upper bearing pin of the friction enhancer and the corresponding screw. In isolated cases, variations in material strength were found that could eventually lead to a fracture. There is no immediate risk of falling, but the replacement should be carried out promptly.
The free replacement kit with instructions will be available from week 45 and can be requested by email at info@climb-art.de.
In addition, ART now offers a reinforced stainless-steel side plate to improve the so-called “nose” of the friction enhancer. This upgrade will be available free of charge from week 49, directly through ART.
All future BlackBirds will be shipped with these enhanced components already installed.
