The Distel Alu 3 is equipped with an optimized comfort pad that provides extensive support for your shins and calves. A 50% larger padding surface compared to the classic pad ensures even pressure distribution and, thanks to its grid structure, perfectly adapts to your leg. This allows for comfortable work even during extended use.

The lower classic straps are made from BioThane material and are manufactured in the USA by Weaver. These straps are extremely durable, waterproof, robust, and highly resistant to resin and sawdust, easily withstanding the daily demands of tree care. This ensures the climbing spur fits securely without any play, while the 105 mm wide upper VELCRO strap simultaneously provides optimal pressure distribution. The adjustable spur shells allow you to customize the height of the climbing spurs, ensuring an optimal fit for your leg length.

Short gaff is ideal for trees with thin bark. It easily penetrates hard and dry wood. Gaff height: 30 mm, gaff length: 31 mm, maximum load capacity: 150 kg.

Medium gaff is the perfect balance between the short and long gaff. Its significantly blunter shape and wider base reduce sinking into the wood when standing for extended periods and make it easier to remove the gaff without affecting penetration efficiency. Gaff height: 42 mm, gaff length: 44 mm, maximum load capacity: 150 kg.

Long gaff is specialized for trees with thick bark. The longer gaff ensures a firm grip. Gaff height: 48 mm, gaff length: 57 mm, maximum load capacity: 130 kg.
