Teufelberger Tachyon 11,5 ash Climbing Rope

The Tachyon tree climbing rope from Teufelberger is characterized by a groundbreaking double-core construction. Inner core strands made of polyolefin (nylon) which are covered by an energy absorbing polyamide core. Thanks to this innovative Flexifirm Core technology, a three-layer structure was created in which the rope remains tight and round. The stable, yet flexible construction with the 24-strand braided polyester sheath achieves a significant improvement in the friction knot performance without bulges. The inner core keeps the diameter constant even under load, which gives the rope a better grip and counteracts fatigue of the gripping muscles. The Tachyon is a light and handy tree climbing rope, it is easy to splice and is certified according to EN 1891.
