Its compact construction and a weight of just 495 grams make it a reliable companion in any situation – even when operating in hard-to-reach areas.

The innovative lever mechanism provides precise control during descent and allows you to finely adjust your speed with minimal effort. Thanks to the automatic return of the short control lever, the device remains compact at all times, reducing the risk of snagging on gear or branches. Whether you're right- or left-handed, the intuitive operation works equally well for both.

If an unintended movement occurs, the anti-panic function engages automatically, bringing you to a safe stop.

Another key advantage: you can load the rope without removing the Megawatt from your harness – made possible by the secure locking mechanism. The generously sized carabiner hole allows your carabiner to rotate freely a full 360 degrees within the device, giving you maximum flexibility when positioning. Even high loads up to 230 kilograms are no problem, with durable steel inserts at high-wear points ensuring a long service life. An integrated RFID chip also makes it easier to track and document your equipment.

Certified according to EN 12841-C, EN 341-2A, EN 15151-1/8, and ANSI/ASSE Z359.4, the Megawatt is approved for rope diameters from 8.9 to 11.8 millimeters – making it ideal for professional rope access and technical rescue use.
