The year has started and the Drayer team is on the road again. At the arborist school in Saint-Ismier near Grenoble, Guillaume Rebis and Colin Bühler have organized a workshop for tree cabling and the SRT climbing technique (Static Rope Technique). On the first day, the focus was on the conservation of trees and the explanation of tree cabling systems. At first we presented the different systems and manufacturers that are currently on the market and of course our own treeSave system. Then it was shown how the installation works quickly and efficiently, how the positioning in the tree should be and what equipment and material you need for it. Thanks to the wonderful weather, everything could be demonstrated directly on the tree and the participants were also be involved in the installation of our treeSave system.
On the second day the SRT climbing technique was demonstrated and explained what you have to pay special attention to. The prospective arborists were extremely interested and fully involved in the matter. In addition, some companies from the area were invited to the workshop and we were very happy about the numerous participation.
The workshop was a complete success and all participants and prospective arborists were extremely interested and thankful. It was great fun to be able to convey something to both the "old" professionals and the young prospective arborists. We look forward to seeing you again at one or the other event.
